About the job

This 6-month contract role works on a diverse portfolio of well-known and emerging brands. You’ll lead integrated brand-building activity across PR, influencer, events, social and content, while also contributing to consumer projects across other categories like retail, alcohol and FMCG. This is a senior, hands-on Senior Account Director position requiring proven leadership, strategic confidence, and deep integrated experience to drive impact over the contract term.

  • Act as the primary strategic lead for high-profile consumer clients, providing high-level counsel that goes beyond PR to influence broader business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional development. 
  • Take ownership of account profitability and organic growth. 
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to spearhead major pitches.
  • Oversee the ecosystem of earned, influencer, and social.
  • Ensure seamless agency operations, managing high-level budgets, resource allocation, and long-term planning.

 

About you 

  • You are currently a Senior Account Director, with a background in a fast-paced PR agency or a sophisticated in-house consumer brand.
  • You have a track record of managing and retaining talent, known for building team morale and navigating high-pressure environments with composure.
  • You hold deep, high-level relationships across the media and creator landscape and know how to leverage them for maximum brand impact.
  • You are obsessed with what’s next – staying ahead of digital shifts, social trends, and platform evolutions to keep your clients relevant.
