About the job

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery of integrated PR programmes across global and UK technology clients
  • Owning day-to-day client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact
  • Developing and executing earned media strategies across tech, business and national media
  • Proactively identifying, shaping and pitching high-quality media opportunities
  • Managing media engagement with top-tier outlets and broadcast journalists
  • Overseeing the drafting of press materials including releases, media alerts, briefing documents and award submissions
  • Driving campaign planning, launches, media events and industry activations
  • Managing timelines, resourcing and ensuring high-quality account delivery
  • Supporting financial management, including budget tracking and forecasting
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development
  • Collaborating with strategy and creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns

 

About you

The ideal candidate:

  • Has strong experience within technology PR (agency experience essential)
  • Has proven Account Manager experience — confident owning accounts and managing stakeholders
  • Has a strong track record in earned media relations, ideally including top-tier or broadcast exposure
  • Is commercially aware and comfortable overseeing budgets and account processes
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail
  • Is confident leading projects, managing multiple deadlines and prioritising effectively
  • Can translate complex technical topics into compelling, media-ready narratives
  • Is proactive, solutions-focused and calm under pressure
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and enjoys mentoring junior colleagues
  • Is passionate about inclusion and contributing positively to team culture
