About the job

This is an incredible opportunity to work on an exciting, high-profile portfolio of market-leading brands across the tech, gaming, premium hospitality, wine, and tourism sectors. Working on integrated campaigns within a dynamic and vibrant agency culture, you will drive major consumer touchpoints including back-to-school retail promotions, e-commerce social media strategies, and broadcast media stunts. This role goes far beyond traditional PR, allowing you to flex your creative muscles across influencer collaborations, brand partnerships, and major experiential events.

Key responsibilities:

  • Pitch story angles to journalists, build and maintain strong relationships with key media, influencers, and bloggers across print, broadcast, and digital.
  • Draft high-quality press releases, media alerts, pitch letters, op-eds, and social media copy that align with client messaging.
  • Track media coverage, compile comprehensive coverage reports, and analyze campaign ROI using PR tools.
  • Assist in organising press events, product launches, and media tours, ensuring all logistics run smoothly.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, current events, and media landscape shifts to identify proactive opportunities for clients.

 

About you

Essential experience:

  • Experience at the Account Executive level (or a seasoned Account Coordinator ready to step up) at an Australian PR agency. 

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
  • A strong understanding of the media landscape and a growing track record of securing media coverage.
  • Excellent time-management and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Familiarity with PR databases, media monitoring tools, and social media management platforms.
