About the job

  • Supporting the delivery of integrated PR programmes across global and UK technology clients
  • Proactively identifying and pitching earned media opportunities across tech, business and national media
  • Building and nurturing relationships with journalists and industry commentators
  • Drafting press materials including releases, media alerts, briefing documents and award submissions
  • Monitoring media landscapes, tracking coverage and supporting campaign reporting
  • Assisting with campaign planning, launches, media events and industry activations
  • Managing timelines, status documents and supporting smooth day-to-day account delivery
  • Developing an understanding of budgets, vendor processes and financial administration
  • Contributing creative ideas in brainstorms and helping translate complex tech topics into compelling narratives

 

About you

The ideal candidate:

  • Has a genuine interest in technology and innovation (Essential)
  • Has some PR experience (agency or in-house), ideally with exposure to B2B or tech clients
  • Has a clear interest in earned media relations, with the ambition to proactively pitch and secure coverage
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Is naturally proactive – someone who suggests ideas, takes initiative and looks for opportunities
  • Is highly organised with good time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Is open to feedback and motivated to grow quickly within a structured progression framework
  • Is a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Is passionate about inclusion and contributing positively to team culture
