About Seven Hills

This established agency launched in 2010, Seven Hills, was co-founded by the former MD of Archetype (formerly Text 100) and former board director at Hill and Knowlton, and ex-CEO of The Communication Group.

With a cohort of nearly 50 employees, it has the creative firepower to pack a punch with its thought leadership-focused and purpose-led B2B campaigns.

2022 has also seen Seven Hills win the SABRE Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Corporate Consultancy of the Year 2022 Award from PRovoke Media.

Seven Hills has their own in-house podcast studio and podcast, ‘Change Makers’, hosted by its own co-founder, Michael Hayman. The podcast is an interview series with guests ranging from Nobel laureates and football players to ground-breaking founders, CEOs, and even the ex-director of the CIA.

That, alongside an in-house creative and design team means you’ll be working on integrated campaigns, along with journalists and more. You might find yourself sitting opposite a graphic designer or strategic director on any given day. An exciting extra at any top PR Agency.

Whether it’s campaigning with Valuable 500 to get disability inclusion onto the boardroom agenda in FTSE 500 companies, working with robotics companies behind the country’s biggest grocery delivery hubs with Tharsus, or with famed entrepreneur James Chen, and his
initiative, Clearly, to provide free glasses to under-privileged communities with no access to eye-care - Seven Hills work with changemakers who want to improve the world.

Seven Hills’ offering spans two main practice areas, always with the focus on change makers:

Purpose and Impact:

  • Seven Hills knows that businesses can be a force for good and that trust and credibility are the cornerstones of commercial success amidst an uncertain, political, economic, and environmental backdrop. It understands purpose-led business like no other, leading it to write the book, ‘Mission: How the Best in Business Break Through’ in 2015, about the rise of purpose-led businesses such as Airbnb and Wholefoods. This was coupled with a string of interviews with different business’ founders from across the world. A whole other level of business connections right there.

  • It works with everything from major corporations, industry leaders and private individuals, all of whom are driven by purpose and impact.

Investment and Innovation

  • Putting itself in the driving seat of digital growth in the UK, Seven Hills has championed London as the world’s tech capital for over ten years. It has helped tech companies to overcome their biggest challenges, as well as driving economic success from start-ups.

Working Policy

Hybrid and flexible working was introduced into life at Seven Hills during the lockdown, and with the office being open Tuesday-Thursday, team members have the flexibility to work from home or in the office.

If you were to work on a Thursday, you have access to the notorious drinks trolley (which sometimes makes its way to the work floor more regularly.) With the office also being dog-friendly, it’s hard to turn down!

People rarely work past 6pm at Seven Hills as a work-life balance is encouraged and they want people to be happy/have fun whilst they’re at work.

Training and Development

  • The Seven Hills training programme is truly multi-faceted and still evolving. It currently has an internal training plan run by senior directors and regularly has lunchtime ‘surgery’ sessions.

A cool addition to this is their ‘Academy Sessions’, which is a scheme where Seven Hills invites prominent speakers in to speak to employees and help broaden their horizons. Examples of past speakers include:

- The Founder of Patagonia,

- The Founder of Planet Organic,

- The Founder of Black Britain.

  • Not only this, but every new employee is given a buddy and a mentor, aside from their line manager, to aid in their development. The senior leadership team is also responsible for making sure that everyone achieves their targets and progresses in the agency.

Diversity & Inclusion

  • Seven Hills created an internal task force focusing on diversity and inclusion with the aim of driving a diverse recruitment policy, and it partners with King’s College London to diversify its talent pipeline.

  • Aside from this it has introduced the external company Fresh and Fearless to run workshops both for senior leadership and the entire company.
