About the job

Neon Black are looking for a confident, culturally tuned-in PR Account Manager to join their growing team. You’ll work across an exciting portfolio of well-known consumer and lifestyle brands, leading day-to-day client activity, guiding junior team members, and helping brands earn their place in culture.

You’ll be equally comfortable managing projects, budgets, and timelines as you are pitching stories and securing top-tier media coverage. If you’re passionate about creativity, storytelling, and making brands part of the conversation, we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the key day-to-day contact for clients, building strong, trusted relationships and managing expectations with professionalism and warmth.
  • Oversee campaign development and execution, from ideation through to delivery, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, managing upwards effectively and contributing to broader account strategy and planning.
  • Lead media relations with confidence – crafting compelling pitches, maintaining strong journalist relationships, and driving consistent earned coverage.
  • Identify reactive opportunities, tapping brands into cultural moments, trends, and news cycles that align with their values and audiences.
  • Contribute to reporting, budget tracking, and post-campaign evaluations, ensuring clients see measurable impact.

 

About you

The ideal candidate:

  • You’re an experienced PR Account Manager (or a strong SAE ready to step up) with agency experience – ideally in consumer brand or lifestyle.
  • You have exceptional client management skills and know how to manage both upwards and downwards with ease.
  • You know how to make brands part of the conversation and love the buzz of seeing your stories come to life across media and social.
  • You’re organised, proactive, and commercially minded, confident handling budgets and project timelines.
  • Most importantly, you’re passionate about PR and building a career in a creative, fast-paced environment.
