About the job

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become a foundational pillar of a successful agency as they bring their social media department entirely in-house. Working side-by-side with the agency’s Founder, you will take full ownership of our social media remit, transitioning existing external contracts into a powerhouse internal offering. Managing a prestigious and diverse portfolio across global consumer tech, premium hospitality, real estate, and iconic household FMCG brands, you will lead the charge on everything from high-budget influencer campaigns to regional social strategy. Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary client lead for all things social, developing and executing comprehensive organic and paid social media strategies across major global portfolios.
  • Oversee the content lifecycle – from adapting global brand assets to directing locally produced internal content – ensuring high engagement for audiences ranging into the millions.
  • Design, negotiate, and execute high-impact influencer campaigns aligned with major retail calendar hooks (e.g., Black Friday, EOFY, major seasonal launches).
  • Collaborate directly with the agency Founder to pitch for new business, expand the social media remit of existing clients, and mentor junior team members who support day-to-day coordination.
  • Monitor channel performance, analyse social metrics, and deliver insightful data-driven reports to clients to prove ROI and drive future strategy.

 

About you

Essential experience:

  • 3 – 4+ years of experience managing social media accounts within an agency environment (at the Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, or seasoned Senior Account Executive level ready to step up).

 

The ideal candidate: 

  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), algorithm trends, and a proven track record of managing large-scale community pages and paid campaigns.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end influencer management, from sourcing and contract negotiation to campaign execution and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to build trust as a senior client contact and translate complex social metrics into clear business insights.
