About the job

This 6-month contract role works on a diverse portfolio of well-known and emerging brands. You’ll lead integrated brand-building activity across PR, influencer, events, social and content, while also contributing to consumer projects across other categories like retail, alcohol and FMCG. This is a senior, hands-on Group Account Director position requiring proven leadership, strategic confidence, and deep integrated experience to drive impact over the contract term.

  • Serve as the ultimate strategic consultant for a group of high-profile clients, aligning PR and earned media outcomes with their overarching global business objectives.
  • Full P&L responsibility for your group. You will manage high-level budgets, optimise resource allocation, and drive significant organic growth.
  • Partner with the SLT to lead major pitches, defining the creative and strategic direction that wins new business.
  • Lead and mentor multiple account teams (led by ADs and SADs), fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, professional growth, and talent retention.
  • Improve agency-wide processes, from staffing models to profitability reporting, ensuring the group operates with precision and agility.

 

About you 

  • You are currently a high-performing Group Account Director or a seasoned Senior Account Director ready to take the step into a multi-team leadership role within a fast-paced agency.
  • You have a proven track record of managing both accounts and people. You know how to empower team members from entry-level to seniors.
  • You possess deep commercial acumen, comfortably navigating complex financial reporting and long-term resource planning to ensure sustainable agency growth.
  • You hold high-level relationships across the media, creator, and business landscapes.
