About the job

As an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager, you will be the day-to-day lead for a portfolio of major pharmaceutical accounts. You will be responsible for the seamless execution of integrated communications programs designed to drive meaningful behavior change – from increasing flu vaccination uptake to supporting cancer awareness. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and high-impact delivery across media, policy, and public audiences.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will drive the media agenda for healthcare clients, using your established journalist relationships to pitch stories and secure consistent, high-quality coverage in a scrutinised health landscape.
  • You will manage the development and launch of industry-leading reports and data-driven campaigns, coordinating with medical experts and senior spokespeople to ensure all content is compelling and evidence-based.
  • You will work within the creative and regulatory frameworks of the healthcare sector, ensuring all campaign materials are fully compliant while remaining innovative and effective.
  • You will oversee the delivery of multi-channel campaigns, coordinating media relations, stakeholder engagement, and social/digital components to ensure deadlines are met and results are measured.
  • You will play a vital role in supervising junior team members, providing quality control on written work and guiding their professional development.

About you

  • You are a PR professional with 3 – 6 years of experience, within healthcare communications or a similarly regulated industry.
  • You have a proven track record of landing stories in trade, national, or consumer health titles. You know how to build and maintain a media list that actually delivers.
  • You are comfortable diving into complex medical or technical subject matter and can draft press releases or articles that make that information accessible and engaging.
  • You are looking to take the next step in your career, moving from executing tasks to owning client workstreams and contributing to broader account strategies.
