About the job

Key responsibilities:

• Drafting excellently written media material, including press releases or thought leadership pieces and meeting client and internal deadlines with consistently high-quality work. 
• Demonstrate well-grounded industry and/or policy knowledge in specific areas which are relevant to the client accounts you work on. 
• Demonstrate confidence in client-facing situations. 
• Deliver excellent coverage results in broadcast, print and online media. 
• Develop a detailed understanding of your clients and their operating environments
• Feed into the strategic council with the team
• Carry out new business research by identifying growth in a specific area of the business and driving this. 
• Think and act independently, taking the initiative when appropriate
• Supporting with social media content production for clients and agency channels

About you

The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least two years of agency experience; those with experience in journalism or a strong media background will be at an advantage. 
• Have a keen desire to make an impact in a forward-thinking agency and to make the world a better place.
• Proven experience delivering impressive coverage across broadcast, print and online media. 
• An excellent grasp of the news agenda and the political landscape. 
• Possess excellent communication and writing skills with a professional eye for detail. 
• Be task-oriented with excellent time management skills.
