• This award-winning B Corp PR agency is known for its work across integrated campaigns, and its efforts in driving Diversity & Inclusion both internally and across the PR industry.
• They are a female-founded, employee-minded agency, working on a range of exciting clients on integrated campaigns. Initially making their name as an experiential agency – they put brands on the map with creative campaigns for international alcohol clients, music festivals, and London startup brands, amongst other things.
• They place a special emphasis on ‘experiential’, 360 campaigns at this agency. As an example, they recently created an alfresco dining experience for one of their key clients on the Cornish coast, hosted by celebrity chefs and presenters.
• With no associate directors in the agency, as a new SAD, you’ll be occupying a key role and reporting directly to a director.
• They really walk the talk when it comes to culture and employee wellbeing. To compound their culture of openness and inclusion they have an annual summit (most recently in Morocco and Barcelona), a DEI committee, quarterly company meetings and monthly town halls; as well as ‘walking meetings’, ‘radio silent’ hours each day and giving a company card to each employee.

About the job

• This role is for an experienced Account Director or Senior Account Director with consumer PR experience. Any experience in big brand and lifestyle PR is ideal for this role.
• Your portfolio will be a single alcohol client, and any other work will be ad hoc projects or helping with other accounts.
• Your key responsibilities will surround running accounts strategically, and overseeing AM/SAMs in their day to day leading, and planning across a variety of campaigns, ideating on the creative for clients.
• You’ll be the key point of contact across all of your accounts.
• In this role, you’ll be a part of the senior leadership team in the agency too, so it is an opportunity to lay down roots and make your mark.
• You’ll be working on larger campaign activations, as well as press office work, working in tandem with other departments in the agency.
• It’ll be important to lead by example and get stuck into the selling-in at times too, whilst guiding and training your juniors.

About you 

• To be considered for this role you’ll need to be an experienced PR Account Director or Senior Account Director with agency side experience. Candidates from an inhouse background will be considered if they have had agency experience at some point.
• You’ll need to have big brand consumer and lifestyle PR experience in this role.
• You’ll have the gravitas and experience to maintain and develop client relationships, as well as handling challenges in this sphere.
• You’ll have a strong grasp of media relations with an excellent network of contacts.
• A good understanding of the evolving media landscape is essential too.
• You’ll have built a strong grounding in strategic thinking – looking at the how, what and why of how to solve a communications challenge. 
• Your experience in client management and client counsel will be very strong. You’ll know how to lead from the front and manage expectations.
• You’ll have experience in guiding and supporting junior staff and line managing.
