About the agency

Latte is excited to be exclusively recruiting for this wicked consumer & drinks PR agency. This team have set the bar high when it comes to creative, integrated work. They have created pop up botanical gardens to launch gins, created explosive science classes (literally) to highlight the ingredients of whisky and have boggled journalists’ minds at the most immersive tasting classes.

Their work isn’t the only thang that’s cooking with steam. They’ve also got a kick-ass culture with a close-knit, collaborative team. One that mucks in together and go on team trips abroad to “learn & develop”, and where individuals thrive through common goals (ahhh… that sounds nice).

The MD is a good guy, which is reflected in the types of people who build up his team. Described as a “kooky” bunch, they like to employ those who want to be part of a quirky crowd.

They do work hard and there’s lots of accountability as it’s just a small team. But they also know the importance of taking breathers. They have regular staff socials (including trips abroad for team building and training and development gigs).

Training and Development

They do reviews every six months to help set career and performance objectives. What’s really impressive is that they set an external training budget of £500 per person. Which means Line Managers may suggest courses that employees could go on, but if there’s a specific training course that interests the individual, they’re open to assessing if it fits in the plan.

About the job

  • This role will lead their London office. Currently, a team of 4 you will be responsible for converting new business leads into wins, unlocking organic growth and growing the team.
  • To start with you already have an outstanding portfolio that includes major brands in the tequila, rum and gin space.
  • Underneath you are an Account Director, Account Manager, Senior Account Executive and Account Executive. As such, this will be a hands-on leadership, account and operational role.
  • This agency doesn’t just do drinks product placement. They deliver integrated brand strategies.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to progress to a Board Director in 12 months and reap the rewards of your hard work through a profit-related bonus.


About You

  • You will already be a Senior Account Director ready for the step-up or already at Associate Director level coming from a PR agency.
  • Ideally, some of your client experience will include drinks brands.
  • You’ll have a strategic skillset that can look beyond short sharp campaigns and into creating communication platforms for all of a brand’s messaging to be derived from.
  • As this is a small, growing agency you will be a hands-on manager and enjoy mucking in with the team to get the job done.
