Wanna be SHOOK? Join one of Provoke’s fastest growing PR agencies in the UK and work with brands that stand for something. From organic period care to climate action, SHOOK’s campaigns combine the superpower of behaviour design with creativity to make ideas with impact.
About the agency
SHOOK launched in 2020 by power duo Gemma Moroney and Damon Stratt with the financial backing of Hope & Glory.
SHOOK combines behaviour design and creativity to fix brand, business and behaviour challenges. The agency works across creative, communications and campaigning, helping good brands make a positive impact.
Recent work has included: defining the purpose and brand narrative of two global brands; putting pressure on government to change policy; and creative comms campaigns for FMCG brands and charities including The Ruth Strauss Foundation.
After a raft of new wins, they are hiring extensively into the agency at several levels.
This is an exciting time to join the agency. With rapid growth and close access to the two MDs, you’ll be contributing to a lot of different areas of the business. There won’t be a feeling of hierarchy, it’s a place where you will be able to grow your skills and career quickly.
Culture
SHOOK exists to shake stuff up and make a difference. To work at this agency, you need to be hungry for impact – whether that’s in perception change for a brand or policy change for a charity.
You’ll love getting stuck in to help get the job done and will be someone that enjoys working above and below your role to ensure client deliverables are achieved.
We promise, you’ll learn fast and have a lot of fun doing it.
SHOOK’s values are a big part of its culture: Open | Honest | Restless | Generous | Fun – there’s more about how these apply to who we’re looking for below.
Gemma & Damon also feel strongly about the opportunity to build a new agency in the right way, making it an equitable place for everyone. They have a wide range of pledges in place to create an anti-racist, accessible and inclusive place to work and this will always be part of the culture.
