About the agency

This strategic communications agency was built to operate differently from the traditional model. Founded by two senior industry leaders, the agency was created with a single vision: to give talented people the freedom to do their best work without sacrificing work-life balance. The team works with a diverse range of clients across enterprise tech, corporate, and innovation sectors, delivering campaigns that drive real business outcomes rather than vanity coverage.

From high-growth startups to global brands, the agency’s work focuses on strategy, impact, and meaningful results – whether that’s helping a company scale, launching innovation initiatives, or creating campaigns that influence key markets. The team is small, experienced, and hands-on, ensuring every project benefits from senior counsel and strategic thinking. Creativity, autonomy, and partnership with clients are central to how the agency operates.

Benefits & Culture

This is a place where flexibility, trust, and work-life balance are real, not performative. The culture empowers people to focus on outcomes rather than presenteeism, choose the projects they work on, and collaborate with a tight-knit, highly experienced team.

Some of the benefits you can expect include:

  • 20 days annual leave
  • Work From Anywhere policy
  • External training opportunities
  • Access to bonuses

About the job

As an Account Director, you’ll lead a diverse portfolio of enterprise technology, corporate, and innovation-led clients, delivering strategic communications programs that drive genuine business impact. You’ll act as a senior trusted advisor to clients, providing high-level counsel while remaining close to the work and guiding campaigns from strategy through to execution.

This role suits an experienced PR leader who enjoys autonomy, takes ownership of client portfolios, and values thoughtful, outcomes-driven communications over high-volume, transactional PR.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee multiple client accounts, ensuring all activity is strategically sound and delivers measurable business outcomes.
  • Serve as the senior day-to-day client contact, building long-term, trusted partnerships.
  • Provide strategic counsel in collaboration with senior leadership, shaping narratives, positioning, and campaign direction.
  • Maintain oversight of timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring consistently high standards of work.
  • Guide, mentor, and elevate junior team members through hands-on leadership and feedback.
  • Identify and proactively pursue opportunities to grow accounts, deepen client partnerships, and expand the agency’s impact.

About you

  • You are an Account Director or experienced Senior Account Manager from a PR agency, or come from a PR-adjacent background with equivalent experience (typically 5+ years).
  • Proven experience leading enterprise technology, corporate, or innovation-focused clients and complex workstreams.
  • A strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to deliver communications programs that support broader business objectives.
  • Confident, credible, and calm in senior client environments – seen as a trusted advisor.
  • Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a flexible, outcomes-focused environment.
  • Strong commercial and project management skills, with close attention to quality, detail, and delivery.
  • A collaborative leader who values mentorship, team development, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Motivated by meaningful, high-impact work rather than churn-and-burn PR.
