About the job

You’ll take the lead on a portfolio of client accounts, driving campaigns that deliver real impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting excellently-written press releases and comment pieces in a timely fashion
• Taking the lead on specific strands of activity and projects (such as events), with minimal oversight from managers
• Identifying growth and opportunities in the specific area of the business or client activity you look after
• Taking the lead on implementing tasks, following up and anticipating next steps
• Building and demonstrating well-grounded industry and/or policy knowledge in specific areas which are of relevance to the client accounts you work on
• Producing concise and high-quality written briefings and policy audits, summarising key issues
• Delivering excellent coverage results in broadcast, print and online media

About you

The ideal candidate will:

• Have PR agency experience in PR or Public Affairs at AE/SAE level
• Be a dynamic go-getter with a hunger to progress and maintain a high standard
• Demonstrate confidence and project authority in a client facing role
• Have a passion for teamwork with strong communications skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, partners and suppliers
• Have an excellent grasp of the news agenda and a proven experience in generating high-level coverage
• Possess excellent writing skills
• Have good research, organisational and writing skills, with a professional eye for detail
• Be enthusiastic , with a ‘can do’ attitude
