About the job:

As Head of Social Media, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of social media strategies, from ideation to execution, ensuring they align with client objectives.
  • Managing end-to-end social campaigns, including content creation, community management, paid media, and analytics.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their brand goals, presenting strategies, and delivering impactful results.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and ensure cohesive delivery of client work.
  • Collaborating with internal PR and social/content teams to integrate social content with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Monitoring industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep the agency’s social offering ahead of the curve.
  • Overseeing reporting and analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimise strategies accordingly.

 

About you:

  • Have 7+ years of experience in social media management within an agency setting, with a proven track record of leading social campaigns for consumer brands.
  • Possess strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • Have a deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and how to leverage them for various client goals.
  • Are skilled in social content creation and managing the creative process, working alongside designers, videographers, and copywriters.
  • Have experience with paid social media and an understanding of how to optimise budgets for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Are a confident communicator with the ability to present strategies to clients and handle feedback with a solutions-driven mindset.
  • Are highly organised and able to manage multiple clients and campaigns at once, with excellent attention to detail.
