About the company

Our client is a subscription-based software platform used by hundreds of PR agencies and in-house teams to create compelling, visual PR reports. Built by ex-PRs, the platform helps global brands showcase their coverage and measurement in one place. They are a small, experienced, and hands-on team that prioritises impact and meaningful results. 

They are now entering a new phase of rebuilding the product and brand, and are seeking a founding member of the marketing function. This is a lean business that values autonomy and the freedom to do great work without sacrificing work-life balance.

  • This is a UK-based remote/hybrid position. There are offices in North London which are open for as often as someone would like, with a minimum expectation of once a month.

About the job

This role is not purely media relations; it is about being a native PR voice that understands the industry’s pain points. You will:

  • Lead brand awareness by growing the customer base from hundreds of teams to thousands through content that resonates with their PR audience.
  • Create high-impact content by generating ideas for campaigns, writing thought leadership, white papers, and research articles.
  • Arrange and host webinars and roundtables, and attend industry events. 
  • Manage social channels by producing engaging text posts, videos, and documents for both personal and company LinkedIn channels. 

 

About you

The ideal candidate is a high-calibre, PR native professional who is genuinely engaged in the industry community, plus:

  • You have worked agency-side at Account Director level or above. You understand the pain of reporting and measurement firsthand because you’ve lived it.
  • Immaculate copywriting skills and strong creative instincts, with the ability to turn complex industry topics into compelling narratives.
  • You have a strong, professional LinkedIn presence that demonstrates you know how to build an audience and engage in the PR conversation online.
  • You must possess a genuine passion for the profession.
