About Bastion

One of London's leading video game PR agencies, Bastion is the stroytelling Battlepass for developers big and small wanting to gear up, get noticed and build momentum in the gaming sphere. From launching world-first indie games to reigniting excitement for industry favourites, Bastion works on creative campaigns, comms and events to promote the newest and most exciting releases.

The place to build comms XP

Bastion’s client portfolio is packed full of leading and upcoming brands wanting to cut through the noise in the gaming space. From big players like Epic Games, Konami, Riot Games and Square Enix to exciting indie publishers like Private Division and Ustwo Games (and even a whiskey brand!), you’re guaranteed to flex your creative muscles across a range of exciting campaigns and events. There’s always flexibility to accommodate your interests and knowledge.

Experience in video games PR isn’t essential, but a love and knack for games is! This is the ideal agency for someone with comms experience who would love to turn their passion into a career, and work with some of the biggest and most influential names in the gaming industry. Examples of client work include:

  • Amazon Games: Lost Ark launch – Launching the hugely popular MMO into Western markets
  • Ukie: Get smart about P.L.A.Y – Educating parents and carers about family controls on video games
  • Ballantine’s Whisky – Supporting Ballantine’s Scotch whisky on their first venture into the video game world

A game-enthusiasts paradise

Like the sound of switch party nights and lunchtimes playing FIFA? How about visiting game developer studios to exclusively test new releases? Or video games being the office conversation of choice literally every day? Bastion the place to turn your passion into a career and put your storytelling skills to use. With an in-office gaming set-up, regular socials and a culture of fun, Bastion’s MD is big on nurturing an agency where opportunity thrives (Ravi started as an intern himself 12 years ago!) If you have a true passion for video games and storytelling, you’ll feel at home at Bastion!

Hybrid working

With a hybrid work policy, the team work 3 days a week - Tuesday-Thursday - from their Spitalfields office in Central London. The office is open 5 days a week if you wish to make use of the space.

Diversity & Inclusion

“At Bastion we continue to strive and deliver our commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. While video gamers have stereotypically been portrayed as a niche in society, we recognise size and diversity of the video games audience and will continue to build a team that reflects that audience. That is why we have pledge to the #RaiseTheGame diversity pledge led by the trade body for the UK video games industry and supporting initiatives such as SavePoint, a membership created to support under-represented genders working in the video games industry. We know we still have more to do, but we’ve made a commitment to continue on this journey.”
