Join one of London’s leading, award-winning and established independent creative communications agencies. In this role, you’ll develop earned-first creative ideas and campaign platforms for household-name consumer brands.

Latte are excited to exclusively partner with one of London’s leading, award-winning and established independent creative communications agencies to find a Senior Creative/Associate Creative Director to join its dedicated creative team.

This is an agency with an exceptional reputation for earned-first creativity, an impressive collection of industry awards and a client portfolio featuring some of the most recognisable consumer brands in the UK. It’s also a business with genuine momentum, a consistent flow of creative briefs and a dedicated creative function that sits right at the heart of the agency. This is an opportunity for someone who has built their career developing earned-first ideas and wants to work across a broad mix of consumer brands, campaigns and creative challenges.

The agency has an established creative function that sits at the heart of the business, working closely with its PR, strategy and client teams. There’s a consistent flow of briefs, from major integrated campaigns and new-business pitches to smaller, reactive opportunities that need a clever, culturally relevant idea.

The opportunity:

You’ll work closely with senior creative leadership to develop ideas that are grounded in audience insight, brand understanding and what’s happening in culture.

The work is varied. One week you might be developing a creative platform for a major consumer brand. The next, responding to a cultural moment, working on an integrated campaign or finding a fresh way to bring an established brand’s message to life.

There’s no shortage of briefs, and creative thinking is given the time, attention and support it deserves. This isn’t a role where you’ll be expected to fit creative development around a traditional PR account management position. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop earned-first creative ideas and campaign platforms for established consumer brands.
  • Turn audience, brand and cultural insights into compelling creative strategies.
  • Work across integrated campaigns, new-business pitches, activations and reactive PR.
  • Present and defend your thinking with clients and wider agency teams.
  • Collaborate with PR, strategy, social and production specialists to bring ideas to life.
  • Contribute to the development of junior creatives and the wider creative culture.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who has already built a substantial body of work in a dedicated creative role within consumer PR, earned-first communications or an integrated creative agency.

This isn’t a first move into creative from traditional PR account management. You’ll already have experience developing concepts, shaping creative strategies and contributing to campaigns that have been delivered for clients.

You’ll understand that a strong creative idea needs more than a clever headline or an entertaining stunt. It needs audience understanding, cultural relevance, strategic thinking and a reason for people to engage with it.

We’re particularly interested in people with:

  • A strong portfolio of earned-first campaigns and creative concepts, demonstrating your personal contribution and the thinking behind the work.
  • Proven experience developing ideas from initial insight through to creative platforms, campaign proposals or execution.
  • A solid understanding of earned media and what makes an idea newsworthy.
  • Confidence presenting ideas to clients and explaining the strategic rationale behind them.
  • Experience working collaboratively with PR, creative, strategy and production teams.
  • An instinctive interest in culture, consumer behaviour, media and what makes people pay attention.
  • We’re open to an experienced Senior Creative looking for their next step or someone already operating at Associate Creative Director level.

Why consider this?

There are plenty of agencies producing interesting creative work. What makes this opportunity stand out is the combination of the agency’s reputation, the quality of its client relationships and the way creativity operates within the business. Creative isn’t an occasional addition to the PR offering. It’s an established discipline, supported by dedicated talent and experienced leadership.

You’ll work across a genuinely varied portfolio of household-name consumer brands, with opportunities to develop everything from significant integrated campaigns to smaller ideas that respond quickly to culture and conversation.

The agency has built a strong reputation for the work it produces, but it’s equally proud of the people and environment behind it.

The interview process:

A briefing call with a Latte consultant to discuss the opportunity and help us better understand your experience to confirm you are a strong applicant for the role.

Following this, a three-stage process, beginning with a virtual interview and concluding with an in-person final interview and creative task.

How to apply:

Apply with your CV and, ideally, a portfolio or examples of creative campaigns you’ve helped develop. We’re happy to have an initial confidential conversation before you decide whether you’d like to be considered.
