About the job
In this role, you will have the chance to master the essential foundations of PR before quickly expanding your remit into creative and client-facing work. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting media relations by seamlessly managing media monitoring, compiling daily coverage across all accounts, and rigorously updating media lists.
- Drive media relations activity, including telephone sell-ins of client news to journalists and handling incoming media enquiries with senior support.
- Producing high-quality written copy, taking accurate briefs to draft regional press releases, product launch copy, consumer competition copy, and regional trade variations.
- Maintaining strong workspace organisation, taking full ownership of time management, client status reports, meeting preparation, and general account administration.
- Fueling the agency’s creative pipeline, actively bringing original ideas, digital trend insights, and cultural data to new business brainstorms and content plans.

- You are a meticulous organiser, possessing immaculate attention to detail and sharp grammar skills, taking pride in ensuring that everything from an internal email to a media pitch is flawlessly written.
- You are media-obsessed, with a prerequisite interest in business, current affairs, and consumer trends, keeping a constant pulse on what makes a story genuinely newsworthy.
- You don’t wait to be told what to do; you take a proactive approach. You raise your hand for work, look for ways to support the team, and approach problem-solving with resourcefulness.
- You have a baseline understanding of PR basics and are exceptionally comfortable managing tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
