PR Account Manager – Global alcohol brands

The Work
A partnership between an alcohol brand and uber, a pineapple tuktuk, Rita Ora kicking butt at an event, the hottest influencers driving content and brand engagement it’s all in a day’s work at this agency. 

One thing for sure is that you won’t be sitting there working on a dull press office. You’ll be helping cement a leading vodka brand as the product of choice for city nights out, bringing summertime to life year-round and embedding this drinks brand  as the go to for fun and helping one of the fastest expanding food chains position their brand as the healthy choice. 

With a team of 16 they are small, nimble and pack a punch. Just the type of agency we specialise in recruiting for. You’ll feel very much part of a collaborative team 

Right now they’re a team of five and by the end of this year will be closer to a team of 10. There are two joint MD’s / Founders who have stellar agency careers. These are the leaders of the agency and their creative & strategic nous is second to none. 

About the job

This is a pivotal client management role especially within this agency which is all hands on deck.  You’ll play a key part in the client management, client counsel, project management and ensuring deliverables are achieved. 

You’ll manage juniors to help you drive content creation, work with the experiential team to create memorable moments and you’ll develop global tool kits and manage the roll out across various territories. 

Key responsibilities will include:

·      Develop global tool kits

·      Manage the roll out and country management of campaigns 

·      Contribute to creative sessions and the creative process for both your clients and new business

·      Contribute to the agency’s direction, growth and campaign relevance

·      Build relationships with journalists / media relations

·      Help deliver events

·      Project manage / ensure deliverables are achieved

·      Manage juniors

·      Develop content

This role will work across predominately an alcohol focused portfolio with your main client being a major vodka brand. You can also flex onto fashion, FMCG, beauty and lifestyle clients. 

About you

You will need to already be operating at Account Manager level from within a consumer PR focused role. You’ll be able to demonstrate an ability to build relationships with clients and manage deliverables against KPI’s. 

Ideally, you’ll have experience working on alcohol brands but broader big consumer brand experience will be considered. 

You’ll be able to demonstrate a media relations skill set, knowledge of the media relations landscape have an eye for detail and be someone that loves working as part of a collaborative team that all muck in together, rather than in rigid team structures. 

Experience in creating global PR tool kits will be looked upon favourably. 

This role will suit someone who likes to deliver creative, culturally relevant campaigns. 



·      Sunshine Fridays! If the extra hours are made up during the week and your workload allows it, you can leave from 1pm on a Friday with a maximum of four per year

Salary on offer is £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
