About the job

The agency are experiencing continued growth in their gaming and consumer technology clients. They are delivering global content strategies, Pan European campaigns, gaming launches, immersive events and kill social media strategies. 

This Account Director role will play a pivotal role in the running and growth of the gaming clients. They include video game developers, VR hardware and well known gaming franchises. Your role will include:

  • Leading a matrix team across the gaming client portfolio – this includes all levels from AE to SAM. You will report into a Board Director on some clients and Associate Director on others.

  • Create and develop strategies for game launches, customer acquisition, brand consideration projects and press office functions. 

  • Provide training & develop to junior team members. 

  • Work closely with the Creative Director on campaign elements

  • Handle budgeting and focus on organic growth of accounts

  • Run new business pitch processes 

  • Work with production teams of amazing content production 

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need to be coming from a PR agency background where you have experience of working on gaming clients. You’ll be skilled in creating media strategies that launch games and also have a strong strategic skill set that can build consumer engagement. 

Ideally you’ll have great team management skills, be able to provide examples of your client counselling abilities and show that you know how to organically grow accounts. 

You will need to show that you have an understanding of and good relationships with gaming and consumer tech media.

Salary on offer is £42,000 - £48,000 depending on experience.
