About the agency

SHOOK launched in 2020 by power duo Gemma Moroney and Damon Stratt with the financial backing of Hope & Glory. 

SHOOK combines behaviour design and creativity to fix brand, business and behaviour challenges. The agency works across creative, communications and campaigning, helping good brands make a positive impact. 

Recent work has included: defining the purpose and brand narrative of two global brands; putting pressure on government to change policy; and creative comms campaigns for FMCG brands and charities including The Ruth Strauss Foundation. 

After a raft of new wins, they are hiring extensively into the agency at several levels.

About the job

  • You’ll be supporting 3 – 4 client teams across creative comms campaigns and press office work, mainly with a consumer focus but with some trade/B2B work
  • One of your clients could be an organic period care brand that is incredibly passionate about supporting natural cycle care
  • Another client could be the UK’s largest climate action group campaigning to protect our planet.
  • You’ll take a lead in managing campaigns and clients expectations, ensuring projects are delivered on time. 
  • You’ll get involved in campaigns from start to finish and will also have the opportunity to be involved in creative thinking and new business pitches
  • You’ll manage and help develop junior team members, helping them to develop strong media strategies and ensuring results are delivered
  • You’ll contribute to the strategy, planning and budgeting of campaigns.

  • In terms of experience and skills, you should already be at Account Manager level or a Senior Account Executive ready to step up, working on consumer comms campaigns including comms/PR, influencer and social media
  • You’ll be able to bring to life examples of where you have been the key client contact, managed expectations, built great relationships and delivered multiple projects on time. 
  • You’ll also be able to show that you think about the impact of campaigns, looking at the how, what and why of the work you and the team are delivering. 
  • You’ll have great consumer media contacts, ideally will have delivered integrated campaigns, and be someone that wants to tackle briefs in a refreshing way. 
  • If you have extra skills like photography, editing, design then that’s also brilliant but not mandatory.
