About the job

As Senior Account Manager, you’ll take the lead on some of the world’s most desirable travel and cruise brands – with a portfolio that could include Cunard, Explora Journeys, and more.

You’ll oversee end-to-end campaign delivery, from ideation and strategy through to execution and reporting, ensuring client KPIs are met with creativity and precision. You’ll drive proactive media engagement, craft standout storytelling moments, and act as a trusted advisor to clients while guiding and mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, strategy, and delivery of PR-led campaigns across a variety of travel clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key travel, lifestyle, and consumer media to secure meaningful coverage.
  • Provide expert client counsel, industry insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Oversee account activity, managing timelines, budgets, and internal resources to ensure exceptional outcomes.
  • Contribute creative thinking for campaigns, events, and partnerships.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

 

About you

The ideal candidate:

  • You are an existing Senior Account Manager (or a senior Account Manager ready for the step up) coming from an Australian PR agency.
  • You ideally have experience within travel PR, with experience representing cruise lines being especially advantageous. 
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and client management skills.
  • You have strong media relationships, a demonstrated ability of securing coverage, and a love for storytelling.
  • Confident leading campaigns and managing multiple accounts with ease.
  • Enthusiastic about travel and delivering campaigns that create memorable experiences.
