Our client launched in 2020 and have achieved phenomenal growth. They are now a team of 10, have 20 clients in their portfolio and are hiring several new team members to keep up with the expansion.

About the job

  • This Senior Account Manager position will lead on their B2B technology clients. You will be lead in helping to grow out this division within the agency, with the support of the MD and a junior team. This is a rare opportunity to fast track yourself not only to an AD role but into a senior position within the agency.
  • Unlike many Senior Account Manager opportunities, this role will allow you to lead from the front. You’ll take in client briefs, help drive the strategic thinking on accounts and manage a team to ensure projects are delivered.
  • Your client base will be focused on their B2B tech portfolio. However, you are focused on telling interesting business stories for innovative brands. This is not deep tech.
  • One client uses AI to automated the product testing process for brands like the F1 and L’Oreal, helping businesses save millions in engineering solutions.
  • Another client is transforming the life insurance industry, using AI to help consumers make better product decisions and understand their life insurance policy.
  • You will help the MD convert new business leads into wins. They have so much new business coming through, they have had to turn away new clients until they can hire more staff.

 

About You

  • You will currently be at Senior Account Manager level (or ready for promotion from AM level) within a PR agency.
  • You’ll have a strong understand of technology PR, the tech media landscape, how to build a strong media strategy and an ability to manage juniors to deliver projects on time.
  • You’ll have started to build a grounding in strategic thinking – looking at the how, what and why of how to solve a communications challenge.
  • Your experience in client management and client counsel will be put to good use. You’ll know how to lead from the front and manage expectations.
