About the job

  • This role’s focus will be crisis and issues management for a democratic government.
  • You’ll help their newly retained client navigate around issues such as COVID and water sustainability.
  • You’ll also help in driving purpose-led comms, CEO profiling & defining the corporate narrative, to help to protect brands during a crisis, every day is different.
  • They work with several organisations linked to the United Nations, International trade associations that require political led work, major consumer brands that need their reputation managed and innovative tech start-ups.
  • You’ll be given a great deal of autonomy within the role, more so than most Senior Account Executives other agencies. At this agency, you’ll get to lead projects from conception to delivery but will always have the guiding hand of an MD.

 

About You

  • Must be an experienced Senior Account Executive in the PR industry.
  • Have experience in driving crisis communications, issues management & be able to show strategic thinking.
  • Be experienced in managing corporate, purpose-led PR accounts. You’ll also need to know how to drive PR campaigns and show a solid grounding in strategic thinking.
  • Please note, if your core experience is travel, fashion or beauty PR focused, unfortunately, you won’t be considered for this opportunity.
  • You’ll be an ideas-person and a grafter. Going out and just getting the job done is your ethos.
  • You’ll be comfortable with making mistakes but having the ability to learn and grow from them.
  • You’ll be open-minded and up for learning.
  • You’d need to be able to place hard-hitting pieces in media organisations such as The Guardian, The FT, The Times etc.
  • You’re creative and interested in ideas, and quick to think outside the box to execute original and impactful campaigns. But you’re also emotionally intelligent and sociable. You show empathy and can earn your clients’ confidence and trust. You support your colleagues and they support you.
  • You’re organised and able to handle tight deadlines and multiple tasks without compromising on quality. You’re confident working under pressure. You can adapt quickly and offer solutions in a fast-moving environment, and you’re just as adept working on your own initiative as you are within a team.
