About the job

  • You’ll have a seat at the table at Woodrow. In this role, you’ll contribute to media strategy and decision-making on how to improve stories / angles.
  • Client relationships are key; as such, you’ll actively work on fostering a close working relationship with your clients.
  • Alongside this, you’ll continue to build and nurture relationships with journalists and run a reactive media office.
  • Woodrow become experts in their clients’ sectors. This means, you’ll embed yourself into your accounts to truly understand their needs.
  • Some examples of their clients include:
    • An AI app that is changing how dementia is diagnosed.
    • A medical technology company that is working hard to make surgeons better, wait times shorter, and overall costs less expensive.
    • A medicine company that, when you buy their products, they donate life-saving medication to someone who needs it but can’t afford it.
  • You’ll also monitor clients’ social media channels and relevant trends.


About You

  • You’ll be an Account Executive (or a Junior Account Executive ready to step up) at a London PR agency. In house candidates will be considered with at least 1 years’ experience.
  • Your current clients will be from multi-market projects in the international corporate / social impact and / or sustainability spaces.
  • Having the ability to demonstrate media relationships and a detailed understanding of the communications and media ecosystems is key.
  • You’re creative and interested in ideas, and quick to think outside the box to execute original and impactful campaigns. But you’re also emotionally intelligent and sociable. You show empathy and can earn your clients’ confidence and trust. You support your colleagues, and they support you.
  • You’re organised and able to handle tight deadlines and multiple tasks without compromising on quality. You’re confident working under pressure. You can adapt quickly and offer solutions in a fast-moving environment, and you’re just as adept working on your own initiative as you are within a team.
