About the agency

This consultancy helps to lead the conversations shaping tomorrow’s world. Launched in 2018 with the belief that there was a better way to do comms, they bring together intelligent and ambitious people from a wide range of backgrounds to deliver some of the most ambitious and impactful work going.

In three years, the agency has grown rapidly. There are now 25 people in a team spanning three countries and speaking 10 different languages. The client list has expanded to include international organisations, Europe’s fastest-growing consumer brands, international trade bodies, progressive tech companies, and people and groups campaigning for human rights.

Their work covers companies at the forefront of how the world trades and connects, businesses changing the way we live, fast-growth entrepreneurial brands looking to change the world, and major players from NGOs to governments driving work that matters.

Everyone working in the business is also working on the business. This consultancy knows that a healthy, happy, diverse group of people come up with better ideas, work more effectively and has a greater sense of togetherness. For this reason, it’s an agency that invests heavily in personal and professional development and overall well-being. In return, you are trusted to own your role and take responsibility for the clients you work with.

What we found to be unique about them is that everyone is given the chance to become the very best version of themselves. Regardless of seniority or experience, all team members are trusted to give advice to clients and have key conversations with them, as well as to take full ownership of their role.

They’re also confident, curious and entrepreneurially minded. Their aim is to build something exceptional, not to do what’s been done before. Everyone in the team takes on responsibility from the first day and has the chance to make an immediate impact.

This is not a company of big egos. Their focus is their work. They shout about their clients and the issues that matter.

This is an agency that will nurture you and you will progress quickly. They’re looking for someone with drive, but also someone who will be mindful of the bigger picture when working on campaigns, making sure there’s a long-term positive impact.

Annual summer getaways allow the team to bond and give everyone the chance to unwind after all their hard work.

About the job

  • Working closely with the Founder and Finance Director, you’ll manage P&L of the business and keep everything on track.
  • You’ll utilise your expertise in client management and corporate strategy to best advise the SLT on how to manage situations and keep on the right track.
  • You’ll look after all the resource planning, learning & development, team reviews and oversee the business as a whole.
  • Cementing their reputation as experts in the field, you’ll contribute to business strategy and innovation efforts to ensure the consultancy remains cutting edge.
  • You’ll support, lead and collaborate with the Founder to drive new business initiatives and continually create hype and value amongst clients, candidates, team and potential investors.

About You

  • You’ll be at Director, COO or Managing Director level, ideally at a corporate and consumer London PR agency. 10+ years of experience is required.
  • Purely corporate PR candidates will be considered for this role but, unfortunately, if your focus is purely consumer-focused, you will not.
  • Managing the P&L of a business / division is an area you’re well-versed in.
  • Your ego is left at the door and you’re passionate about doing work that matters.
  • You’ll have a natural hunch for people and be able to demonstrate where you have managed a growing team and helped with business planning.
  • You’re creative and interested in ideas, and quick to think outside the box to execute original and impactful campaigns. But you’re also emotionally intelligent and sociable. You show empathy and can earn your clients’ confidence and trust. You support your colleagues, and they support you.
  • You’re organised and able to handle tight deadlines and multiple tasks without compromising on quality. You’re confident working under pressure. You can adapt quickly and offer solutions in a fast-moving environment, and you’re just as adept at working on your own initiative as you are within a team.
