About the job

  • You’ll handle 3 to 4 core accounts to start with. Your portfolio may grow as you develop.
  • One of those clients could be a cyber-security company. The work you do will build a presence for the client, tapping into security issues like the influx of spam messages that grew due to COVID and lockdown.
  • Another client could be a sustainable investment company, launched by an ex Barclays employee, which uses AI tech and works with businesses that want to leave a positive impact.
  • You’ll help brands build awareness and position themselves correctly in the market and create a long-lasting impact.
  • They work with several organisations linked to the United Nations, International trade associations that require political led work, major consumer brands that need their reputation managed and innovative tech start-ups.
  • You’ll be given a great deal of autonomy within the role, more so than most Account Managers at other agencies. At this agency, you’ll get to lead projects from conception to delivery but will always have the guiding hand of an MD.

 

About You

  • Must be an experienced Account Manager in the PR industry.
  • Have experience in driving PR campaigns & be able to show strategic thinking.
  • Be experienced in managing corporate, purpose-led PR accounts. You’ll also need to know how to drive PR campaigns and show a solid grounding in strategic thinking.
  • Having fin-tech or financial services PR experience is beneficial.
  • Please note, if your core experience is travel, fashion or beauty PR focused, unfortunately, you won’t be considered for this opportunity.
  • You’ll be an ideas-person and a grafter. Going out and just getting the job done is your ethos.
  • You’ll be comfortable with making mistakes but having the ability to learn and grow from them.
  • You’ll be open-minded and up for learning.
  • You’d need to be able to place hard-hitting pieces in media organisations such as The Guardian, The FT, The Times etc.
