About the job

  • This role will sit within the corporate reputation team, delivering campaigns specifically for clients that sit within the financial services sector.
  • You’ll help to manage the reputation for major financial service institutions, work closely with the campaigning team to create awareness on topics such as financial fraud and create strategies that help build brand awareness.
  • Clients include major retail banks, legacy investment firms and fast growth fintech start-ups to name just a few.
  • You’ll help drive media relations, manage projects and a team to keep objectives on track, help to profile CEO’s, deliver campaigns that create awareness and help create comms strategies that have an impact.

 

About You

  • You will be an Account Manager coming from a PR agency where you are working on financial services clients.
  • You’ll have a good understanding of national media and financial services trade media and bring solid media relationships with you.
  • People who work well at this agency are those that think broader about the communications objective. At Account Manager level you should be starting to form your own thoughts and contribute ideas that help elevate a strategy and think about the bigger impact for your client.
  • Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of clients’ businesses and operations and have an understanding of all drivers
  • Be adept at proofing and editing work drafted by junior members of the team, such as features, blogs, press releases and comments etc. Coaching team members of effective creative writing techniques
