About the agency

They’re a global leader in PR with divisions spanning corporate, public affairs, consumer and technology (alongside digital + creative).

The consumer team has had a raft of exciting new announcements including the hiring of four formidable Directors / Creative Directors to take the agencies consumer work to the next level.

You’ll be part of a team of 20 people and be joining at an important time. You’ll be given the opportunity to have an impact, shape the direction of the consumer team and more importantly deliver work that gets noticed.

About the job

  • This role will see you work on two core clients. A major travel brand that has launched a new holiday package offering + a brand that helps millions of people across the globe pay for goods & services. (don’t worry, it’s a really exciting and emotive brief).
  • You’ll be leading a team from AE to SAM on these accounts. One of the briefs is working with advertising and media buying agencies. Part of your responsibility will be to champion PR in these meetings and ensure timings work for your campaigns.
  • Strategic counsel about the role of communications in an organisation’s business strategy and experience resolving client issues with clarity about desired outcomes, escalating as appropriate and recommending the best course of action

 

About You

  • You will currently be at Account Director level within a PR agency working on consumer brands. At least one of your clients will require you to be managing integrated campaigns / inter-agency relationships.
    • End-to-end experience delivering projects for clients, including receiving a brief, managing its smooth execution accordingly, through to evaluation, to demonstrate the value of PR as part of a wider marketing mix
    • A genuine passion for PR and the ability to instil this in junior colleagues – including being on the front foot of media and industry trends to help identify new business opportunities and ways to organically grow client projects
