About the Job:

As experts in innovative earned media, this agency is keen to elevate their delivery in social media and content. Before now, they have been partnering with external agencies for execution but they now want to bring this expertise in-house – where you will lead the charge. 

  • Lead Generation: Identify and convert potential leads, working closely with senior leadership to refine and sell the agency’s unique propositions in social media and content.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape and execute social media strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Client Management: Engage with high-profile consumer clients to deliver integrated campaigns that align with their brand goals.
  • Campaign Execution: Oversee the execution of social media campaigns, ensuring a hands-on approach during the first 6-12 months to drive success.
  • Creative Oversight: Work with in-house and external teams to produce compelling content that stands out in the crowded social media landscape.
  • Industry Insight: Utilise your deep understanding of social media trends and metrics to advise clients and guide campaign strategies.

 

About you:

  •  Experience: Proven track record in social media strategy, preferably within a fast-paced agency environment. Experience with earned creative, influencer marketing, and social delivery is a must.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams, with a hands-on approach in the initial phase of the role.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of how to identify, pitch, and convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Creative Vision: A knack for producing and overseeing content that not only engages but drives measurable brand performance.
  • Flexibility: Open to part-time arrangements, particularly for candidates with head-of-level experience
