About the job

  • You will oversee the planning and executive of consumer PR stories across all markets. This will include taking ownership for the creative output within PR, deciding on what channels are appropriate and ensuring a consistent tone of voice.
  • You will lead on integrating PR and Social Media (Paid and Organic) and be involved in broader marketing strategies (CRM, TVC, OOH, digital). This position will also manage the global brand social media team.
  • One of the most exciting aspects about this opportunity is the fact that, as part of the Consumer team within Deliveroo, you’ll play a key part in integrating marketing and PR, making sure campaigns are fully integrated.
  • You’ll dive into the numbers looking at campaign effectiveness, market segmentation and where budgets should be allocated for maximum impact.
  • You’ll be one of Deliveroo’s main brand guardians, working closely with the corporate communications team to ensure their reputation is managed appropriately.


About You

  • Both in-house and agency side experience will be considered for this role.
  • You must be an established PR Director or Communications Director with experience working on major consumer brands that are creative, challenging the status quo and operate globally. (Please note this role is Board Director / Global Director level).
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate that you have been the key lead in developing and implementing integrated consumer PR strategies on a global level, with demonstrable results.
  • Experience in working with marketing teams and ensuring campaigns align is also a key requirement.
  • You’ll be a champion for marketing and PR to work in an integrated manner, not in silos.
  • A key part of this role is managing the global team, and agencies, that focus on earned media. As such, you must be skilled in knowing what creative ideas work for earned media, how different parts of the business can be affected by a campaign and have the ability to help the team tap into the news agenda.
  • You will have a track record of coming up with and implementing creative ideas for earned media in different countries
