DE&I

“At Bastion, we continue to strive and deliver our commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. While video gamers have stereotypically been portrayed as a niche in society, we recognise the size and diversity of the video games audience and will  continue to build a team that reflects that audience. We’ve signed the #RaiseTheGame diversity pledge, led by the trade body for the UK video games  industry. We also support initiatives such as SavePoint, a membership created to  support under-represented genders working in the video games industry. We know we still have more to do, but we’ve made a commitment to continue on this journey.”

Ravi Vijh, Managing Director at Bastion

About the job

  • You’ll be responsible for mapping the video games sector for prospects, scoping out growth opportunities and building connections.
  • You’ll monitor and develop opportunities to secure commercial growth for Bastion and Pinpoint, working closely with the Commercial Director and Head of Influencer.
  • You’ll develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of the agency’s services and work, and the benefits they provide to customers – especially across Pinpoint’s Influencer offering, and slowly expanding to the other divisions.
  • This role won’t initially have much contact with current clients; but you will slowly develop relationships with these clients too and work on unlocking business with them.
  • You won’t just be guiding growth, but also guiding processes and approaches to business development.

About you

  • Relevant qualifications in Business Development and/or Partnerships in the video games industry.
  • You’ll have a minimum 3-4 years of Partnership Management experience in influencer/PR agencies, or in related companies and in house environments.
  • You need a commercial mindset in this role; not only chasing down new business leads, but knowing which potential clients suit Bastion, and how to pitch to them in the right way.
  • A confident networker with strong relationships with relevant stakeholders in the video games sectors, and the willingness to continue building relationships.
  • You’ll have delivered growth in a business already with a proven track record.
  • You’ll have a strong knowledge of the games industry and how to interact with relevant brands and prospective clients appropriately.
