Hey, we’re Latte – a London-based recruitment agency that works with some of the top creative agencies and brands (think Oatly, Deliveroo, Hope & Glory, Milk & Honey, etc.). Essentially, we get the best people for the job and the best jobs for the people. Of course, there’s a bit more to it than that, but in a nutshell, that’s us. (We have a really nice video on our website if you want to check us out:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Social Media Executive to join our small (but mighty) team of 6 as we grow and take on the (PR) world. You’ll need to be a team player with a go-getter attitude and passion for all things social. Your job is to make recruitment and career advice sexy, build the Latte brand, and create content that attracts talent and clients. This is a full-time position, for someone with the ability to get into Central London 2 days a week.

If we had it our way, our ideal candidate would have some experience in a creative marketing/social media role, writing brilliant copy and creating captivating content for a brand or clients. However, if you don’t have the above and think you can bring Latte’s brand and social media to life, we’d still love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

Your day-to-day will involve supercharging our marketing efforts by managing and developing our social media channels, writing engaging copy for job ads and blogs, assisting with the creation of branded documents and client case studies, as well as supporting our long-term projects such as achieving our B Corp certification and launching new service offerings. You’ll be Latte’s brand guardian and our dedicated ‘wait I need a photo first’ person.

You’ll be given heaps of responsibility and freedom from day one, as well as a one-to-one mentor to guide you in the right direction and upskill your talents. As we grow, we envision this role to develop to include event planning and management, PR, and a client social media offering.

Main responsibilities:

  • Managing Latte social media channels across Linked In, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Thinking up kick-ass content ideas and bringing them to life
  • Asset creation (knowledge of Canva is a plus)
  • Producing and editing videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok
  • Crafting engaging copy for socials
  • Scheduling and organising content calendars
  • Measuring performance consistently
  • Working with our MD and founder to bring Latte branded documents to life through compelling copy and on-brand design
  • Writing longer-form content e.g. blogs, Linked In articles, Job ads, and client documents
  • Seeking out opportunities to propel the Latte brand and marketing activity

What you’ll get:

Latte is committed to creating a collaborative, people-first, and inclusive place to work. We work flexible hours, have access to unlimited holiday, and are trialling a 4-day work week – yep, that means a 3-day weekend, every week. It’s 100% freedom, with 200% responsibility. We’re dedicated to providing equal opportunities to all candidates and employees, and protecting and nurturing the wellbeing, health, and safety of our team.

Perks include:

  • A 4-day work week (currently on trial until September). This means our team is off on Fridays – you’ll just need to stay contactable for emergencies via WhatsApp.
  • A flexible work culture – flex your hours to what best suits you. As long as you’re performing to a high standard, we trust you to manage your time effectively.
  • Access to paid, unlimited holiday.
  • Opportunity to earn performance-based quarterly bonuses.
  • Regular team socials (puppy yoga and brunch anyone?).
  • Work-from-anywhere scheme (after probation).
  • A WeWork all-access pass, work laptop and phone.

The salary on offer for this role is £23,000 – £26,000 DOE.

The hiring process:

Our hiring process is just as much for you to get to know us as it is for us to get to know you. There are 4 stages and we aim to move quickly and always communicate our decisions within a week, if not sooner.

  1. A quick briefing/pre-screen call. (virtual)
  2. Coffee & a chat. (In-person) Technically a ‘first stage interview’ but coffee & a chat sounds better to us.
  3. Social Media Task
  4. Final chat with our BFB (big friendly boss), Dean.

To apply, email your application to [email protected] – traditional CVs or Instagram/TikTok applications are more than welcome. You do you.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
