A few big names...
This is an agency on a mission to help the visual art world think and move differently. They want to inspire a transformation from an insular industry to one that’s creatively responsive to a new generation of art lovers. They work with some of the world’s leading art organisations, galleries, and exhibitions to captivate the attention of audiences everywhere.
The team at Pelham are experts in their field – they know the who’s who of the art-media world and have over two decades’ worth of experience to guide their work. This is why they’re looking for some brilliant consumer-brand PR talent to help the agency think bigger and differently when creating campaigns and developing strategies.
This is the perfect agency for someone with consumer brand experience to move into the arts PR sector.
With ambitious growth plans, Pelham remains committed to their boutique agency roots. Their small size means the culture is advantageously collaborative. Everyone has access to everyone, learning directly from each other’s experiences, seniority, and specialisms. You’ll get heaps of responsibility, and won’t have to cut through the red tape that’s common at bigger agencies. There’s plenty of opportunity to get involved with projects that spark your passions and interests.
Pelham’s London home sits in the beautiful Marylebone. Their office boasts panoramic views of the city and as you’d expect, is full of inspiring art.
They operate a hybrid system that supports flexible working. Three days a week in the office are encouraged (Tuesday – Thursday).
Pelham’s client list is packed with museums, foundations, galleries, governments, artists, studios, fairs, biennials, cultural festivals, and leading art organisations from over 16 countries. Some of their recent work includes bringing the 15th century Renaissance to 21st century Birmingham for IKON, and building anticipation for the newest edition of Desert X AIUIa – bringing desert locations to life through art and inspiring a cross-cultural dialogue between artists from Saudi Arabia and its surrounding regions. Some more current clients include The Watermill Center, Future Generation Art Prize, Samdani Art Foundation, David Zwirner, RIBOCA, Art Brussels, Gallery 1957, and several clients at this year’s Venice Biennale.
Being an equal opportunity employer is important to Pelham to ensure they promote an inclusive and healthy workplace for everyone. This means:
